During the season, there are continuing responsibilities.
Parents must:
Your coach has taken on a great responsibility by agreeing to coach your child's team. Please support him/her by taking these responsibilities seriously. If you cannot perform a responsibility, find a substitute and notify your coach of the change.
If your child is ill, please do not let him/her play. Aside from possibly making your child sicker, you run the risk of other infecting other children on the team. If your child is ill, notify your coach that the child will be absent from a practice and/or a game.
If your child is INJURED, please take your child to the doctor, and then listen to the doctor's instructions and schedule for your child resuming play. Do not push your child to play before the child is ready. If your child is injured, the child should still attend practices and games where possible.
Please continue to be punctual! The first activity at practices and games is stretching and warming up. If your child misses that, your child is more prone to injury.
If you have a problem with your coach, you should discuss your issue with him/her. If you feel that you cannot discuss a particular issue with the coach, you should contact the age group coordinator for your child's age group.
