Policies - Financial Policies - Registration and Team Dues

Your coach will be collecting funds from you at the end of August or beginning of September, and then again in November and again in the springtime. These dues are team dependent, and will include trainer fees, tournament registrations, equipment, parties, additional items of clothing for the team, etc. When your coach notifies you of your financial commitment, you must pay him/her immediately. Otherwise, your coach is going to have to pay YOUR share out of his pocket and then become a “collections agent”, continually asking parents to pay up.

The coaches often wait until they have complete payment from all players before they pay their trainer fees. This causes our Director of Training to operate with large receivables, as he has to start paying his trainers in the first week of training.

We have instituted the policy that coaches have the discretion to bench the children of parents who have not paid their dues in a timely manner. We hope that this will reduce the number of parents who have outstanding balances to their coaches.

As always, if families have a financial hardship, you need only to contact our President, Chris Lonner, at president@syscboard.org to obtain a “soccer scholarship” to cover your dues to your team. All children are able to play regardless of their family’s ability to pay.
