Tryout Attendance Policies
If a child has a priority conflict which makes them unable to attend a tryout, the AGC must be notified as soon as the conflict is determined.
There are some age groups that conduct multiple-day tryouts. In this case, with notification to your AGC/Tryout coordinator, your child may miss one of the tryouts.
If your child must miss the ONLY day of tryouts, contact your AGC, and accommodations will attempt to be made for very special circumstances.
If a child is injured and cannot participate in the tryouts, the AGC must be notified.
If your child is injured or sick during their tryouts, the club will make every effort to place your child on the same team that your child was on the previous year. If your child’s team splits into two teams – some join with a higher level team, and some merge with a lower level team, the child’s coach will be consulted. Generally your child will remain on the lower level team. This is the only fair way to accommodate all players attending the tryouts.
